The Last of God Grew Tired of Us

Today in class we watched the end of the movie God Grew Tired of Us.  John ended up making enough money to bring his mother to him.  We never found out if she moved or just visited the United States.  There reunion was very emotional because a mother has not seen her own son in seventeen years.  Once she saw him she literally collapsed to the ground crying.  Walking through the airport, she was singing an African traditional song of joy.  They both looked both happy and relived to be with each other again.  At the end, John received his bachelor's degree.  He is now making a foundation to raise awareness for the war in Sudan and to get people to help those in Sudan.  He started a non profit organization and is trying to build a medical center back in Sudan.  He now is able to support his family.  Panther returned to Sudan and married his girlfriend.  He also got his bachelor's degree and he wants to open a school in Sudan.  Daniel kept working in the job core. He always said how he wanted to find his family, but he has not yet found them.  He is still searching and believes that they are still alive somewhere in the world.  I would be interested in helping raise money or other things to send to Sudan or contribute to John's organization.  I think it would be a good idea to send medical supplies and things to help them stay healthy.  I think they would feel so grateful for those gifts and I would feel really good about it.
